Head Single Ski Bag 170cm Reviews
Average Rating: (16 reviews)

"Finding a good deal on a ski bag can be hard, not anymore! Protect your investment and avoid unnecessary damage. Great for flying and traveling. This doesn't have any padding, but there is plenty of room for soft goods such as sweaters, hats, gloves, etc. Compression straps help keep everything together, so nothing bangs around and damages itself. There is no reason to pay $100 for a ski bag anymore, because you found levelninesports.com."

LOVE IT
By megb05 from Australia on 06/30/2011
Pros: Roomy, affordable, drains snow
This is a really roomy bag, I just have the one pair of skis and poles but could definitely fit in more if I wanted. Allows the melted snow to drain out of the bag and you could chuck lots of other gear in if you wanted (hats, gloves etc.) Really good bag for this price.
Nice large bag

Pros: Lots of room
Cons: none
This bag is nice and roomy. We've got 3 little boys and they could all fit their skis in one bag, which is nice.

Pros: Well Made, Will hold 2 pair for a day

Well made bag. Carried 2 pair of skis while going from Truck to Lockers on a daily basis. Held up and did not rip. Keeps snow and water off skis in the back of Truck while traveling. Real good buy for the money
The Best Ski Bag for good price!
By Nick from New York on 04/12/2011
Pros: Light weight, strong and cheap
Cons: No
Hi!
I have bought 2 ski bags - 1 for myself and 1 for the friend. After 1st season I can tell - that the best bag at such price simply doesn't happen! In a bag the pair of skis (at me 175 cm., but places will suffice even for 178 cm.), 1 or 2 pairs of ski poles, and also some small things as gloves, a cap, ski googles easily is located... On both ends of a bag there are apertures for a drain of water after thawed snow. And in a bag, in the middle, there are some thickenings for protection of fastenings against possible damages. A coloring of bags bright (it it is difficult to lose sight) and enough interesting - I think these bags still for a long time will involve inquisitive glances of other sportsmen. )))
Great bag.

Like previous reviewers have said, this is a very nice bag for a great price. This bag fits my 174cm skis well, along with extra room for poles and clothes. The venting at the bottom is a nice touch that my Roxy bag doesn't have. Also, L9 did a great job of shipping this to me quickly.
One bag, nominally one pair of skis
By Zenzo from Toronto, Canada on 03/30/2011
Pros: Durable, comfortable, gets the job done
Cons: Awkward to slip bindings into pockets
Though this is not recommended, you CAN fit two pairs of skis in this bag if you alternate the direction in which they are inserted so that the bindings are offset. I cannot recommend this as, though it is possible, the zipper will be incredibly tight and it is more fiddling that is necessary.

On a side note, as noted in the Cons section, the pockets that are included inside to hold your skis in position are lined with a bit of foam to protect your bindings. These foam inserts can, if caught the wrong way, can get pulled out of the pocket and float free. Though this doe snot seriously hamper the function of the bag it could be a little annoying.

Other than that, it is a fantastic bag, especially for the price.
Great Ski Bag, Great Service
By Trombird from New Jersey on 03/26/2011
Pros: Good Quality, Good Looks
Cons: None
This is a great looking bag at a great price. The construction is good, with heavy materials, vents at the ends to let out moisture and a little extra padding around the bindings.
Good bag

L9 Q&A
By L9 CS Team on 10/16/2010
Translation: This bag made by Head will hold one pair of skis up to 170cm in length. No tricks, no frills, it is exactly what the title says. Feel free to ask us though if it will hold two pairs of skis that are 185cm. You might be able to answer that one yourself.
Great bag

Great bag to protect your skis and poles. Strap your skis together inside the bag so they don't nick each other. (one old sock at each end helps too). Outside snug straps. Great construction. I bought this bag from L9. What a deal!

This bag is great. It has a zipper extension at the end. Holds two pairs of skis and poles generously. Great value and excellent quality.
Did the trick
By L9 Jon on 04/11/2009
I have this same bag, but an earlier model and long enough to fit my big skis (190cm), and it did the trick when I flew to Seattle a couple seasons ago. The airline wasn't easy on the bag, but the skis were not damaged. The padding in the binding area probably made the difference. There was a cut in the bag near one end from something slamming against the edge of one ski, so its a good idea to put some soft goods- fleece, sweaters, etc. in there to provide cushion and reduce the chance of a cut in the bag.
Less jostling
By L9 Chris on 04/11/2009
Well its just a ski bag, but it does have these two straps that you can cinch down around your planks so they don't get jostled (or get jostled less) when you are on the move.
