Cloudveil 8X Pro Wader Men's Reviews
Average Rating: (13 reviews)

"These waders have changed the angling world forever. No longer are the heavy, rubber coated waders acceptable in comparison to the lightweight and flexible option that the 8X Pro provides. The mix of Gore-Tex 3L and 5L are applied appropriately to give breathablilty where it matters, and max waterproofing where it matters. When the best waders in the world are needed, this is where anglers turn."

Pros: Pirce, Quality, Name, Fish Dig me
Cons: Clouveil was sold - warranty?
Forget about it. Awesome fit, watertight pockets, reinforced where it needs to be. Only negative i see is warranty down the road, and gators are tight.

For the price, forget about it!!

By Pär from Sweden on 04/12/2011
Pros: I dont know where to start.
Cons: None
I have used them walking around in the Swedish coast line fishing for sea trout.
Water temperature at 37 F, layered with two pairs of RDW pants under it and smiled at the neoprene guys...
Would I recommend them? OooYES

GREAT WADERS
By Bart from Ontario Canada on 04/12/2011
Pros: fit of body and feet excellent
I have worn these waders several times in the fall last year and found them to be excellent. The lawyering effect is great! Plenty of warmth in the legs but great comfort in upper body in warmer weather. Very comfortable for a full day of fishing and dried very nicely at the end of the day. Strongly recommend to fellow anglers. I am 6ft tall and weigh 240lbs. These are a great fit.
love the waders
By chuck from Illinois on 03/31/2011
Pros: lightweight, breathable
Cons: kind of long in legs
I used these on the current river Mo last weekend and they were everything I hoped they would be. Long in the legs for me 5'11" but still very comfortable. If they hold up for a good time frame I will be very satisfied.
Great waders except,...
By emernc from North Carolina on 03/09/2011
Pros: Great finish, Gore_tex, light weight, features
Cons: Back of legs NOT reinforced
I loved the fit, finish, features of these waders when I recieved them. However, I noticed that while the front of the lower legs were reinforced with 5 layers the back of the lower legs are NOT. Evidently, I brushed against asubmerged branch or rock one day that easily punctured the back of one leg where it was only 3 layers giving me a niceleg full of 38 degree water in January. Brrrrrrr! No fun!
That being said, still a great buy for the price. Just be careful where you walk.

Pros: Quality, comfort
Cons: didn't have exact size I wanted
Great shipping! I wanted an XL had XL King. Now I need to get busy drinking beer to fill out the middle. Still tickled with the purchase.
L9 Q&A
By L9 CS Team on 10/16/2010
You'll have no idea that you're actually standing in a body of water unless you open your eyes. Yes, they are that good. Ask about these top of the line, and top of the industry waders here.
Start fly fishing
By L9 Jon on 06/21/2010
Just picking these up and reading the feature list makes me want to start fly fishing, well, after all the Cloudveil gear is listed first, of course. Every once in a while Level Nine gets THE product that without argument, is simply the best. This is one of those times.

Pro Waders are wonderful
By Matt the Fly Rod Builder from Thornton Colorado on 11/05/2009
Pros: Incredibly comfortable, Super breathable, Wonderfully light
I use these waders for any type of fishing I can find. I have not found anything they are not fantastic for. They are so light and breathable it is amazing. Compared to the ones I have been using these are wonderful. It doesn't even feel like you are wearing waders. Best Uses: Any fishing application
I dare you to find a better wader
By Vindoggula from Denver, CO on 10/23/2009
Pros: Bomber durability, Comfortable, Durable neoprene booties, Effective gravel guards, Lightweight, Soft-shell breathability, Wide size-ranges
Cons: none
These waders are the best on the market. Similar products can go for hundreds more, but don't offer the Cloudveil quality of materials and workmanship. I trust the company that has culminated its reputation making the finest quality mountaineering and ski wear to keep me warm and dry while I'm fishing. Best Uses: Fishing duh, Flooded basement, Gold panning
