Cloudveil 2010 Run Don't Walk Top Men's Reviews
Average Rating: (12 reviews)

"This classic Cloudveil layering piece offers a good warmth rating for layering when skiing, but is easliy worn solo to block the chill during the other three seasons. The stretch fleece material traps warmth without totally sealing the breathability for comfort during running or cycling. This long sleeve top is a staple that everyone should have- Its inexpensive, versitile, and very comfortable."

Comfy

Pros: Soft, warm
Very soft and comfortable. Fits very well - I wear a 15.5/34 dress shirt and a medium fits me perfectly. Wish I had more.
L9 Q&A
By L9 CS Team on 10/16/2010
Everyone needs one of these in their closet, maybe even two or three. Actually seven would be optimal, one for each day of the week. But who are we kidding? You don't do laundry once every week, you really need at least 14, or maybe 20 if you are really hard core. Stock up on your monthly quota before we sell out, any questions?
Iconic

Iconic piece. Great first layer for extreme cold weather conditions or use a second layer in more mild temps or just kicking around town.
You can't have just one!
By Eric R from Steamboat, CO on 01/12/2010
Pros: Mid weight, Odor resistant, Versatile
I own 3 of these pullovers, I purchased the first one 2 winters ago. This is my go-to base layer for skinning, skate skiing, snowshoeing, or downhill skiing on cold days. Its mid weight allows you to wear a light jacket over it during aerobic exercise, and the 3/4 zip allows quick cool down. Best Uses: Aerobic winter activity, Primary base layer
Great with room for improvement
By Hunter from Little Cottonwood Canyon, UT on 01/10/2010
Pros: Casual and Techy uses, Comfortable, Soft, Warm
Cons: No thumb holes
An awesome thick base layer that only needs thumb holes added so the wrists are kept warm when glove cuffs get snow packed Best Uses: Winter snow play
One of Cloudveil's best
By CacciatoreDan from Chicago, IL on 11/27/2009
Pros: Best warmth for weight, Great Fit, Wonderful fabric
This pullover is the one I grab whenever it's chilly outside. Under a soft-shell, it allows for maximum freedom of movement. The RDW half-zip tops wash easily and dry quickly with little, if any, pilling. I presently have three of these tops and continue to put this half-zip on my Christmas wish list. Except for the long sleeve length (I have short arms), it's the absolute best.

By Terry from Chicago, IL on 10/17/2009
Pros: Convenient Pocket, Long Sleeves, Zip Vents Very Well
I bought my first Run Don't Walk 2 years ago and since then have bought some for my wife and kids. Everyone should own at least 2 of these gems. Best Uses: Uses are unlimited

Best Shirt I have ever owned
By Nate from VT on 10/13/2009
Pros: Fits great, I own 5 of these
I wear these almost every other day and often get comments on how great and how comfortable they look. Prefect for cool summer days and all fall winter and spring.
Near-perfect mid layer
By Great Lakes Icedawg from Milwaukee, Wisconsin on 10/10/2009
Pros: Deep chest zip, Looong sleeves, Moderate insulation, Nice high collar, Outer face sheds snow, Stretchy
Cons: Collar cuffs grab snow
I have 2 of these, one about 4 yrs old, the other bought last year. I wear them for ice climbing, backpacking, snowshoeing or skiing, and for travel. This is a good mid layer for cold weather activities. Fabric stretches for movement, sheds snow better than other fleece, and is at least a little wind-resistant. The design is also cut for movement, with long sleeves that don't ride up, a shoulder cut that keeps the bottom from pulling up when you reach, a deep chest zip that allows venting. The collar is a high cut that keeps the cold air off my neck. The single chest pocket is easy to access and holds quite a lot of stuff. The blue of my newest one is nice enough that I wear the top as a sweater as well as for adventure stuff. The only negative I can think of is that on the new version (bought 2008), the fabric is rolled at the top of the collar and ends of the sleeves so that the fuzzy side faces out. This gathers snow in a way the smooth outer face does not. Don't know why they did this (my older one doesn't have it), but they should stop. It makes for a wet collar and/or wet sleeves. Despite that one negative, I love these tops and wear them all through the cold season. Best Uses: Backpacking, Ice alpine climbing, Travel

I gave a fleece to each of my sons-in-law last Christmas and each have over the year given their Cloudveils glowing compliments...I'll be giving them like products this Christmas!
Great Exercise Fleece
By kfcStaff from Boulder, CO on 09/17/2009
Pros: Athletic Cut, Long Zipper
This is an all around great fleece. It makes for a warm exercise pullover as well as a lounging piece. The long zipper is great when you start heating up outside.
