Roces 2011 Adjustable Kids Ski Boots Reviews
Average Rating: (36 reviews)

"The only logical boots for growing kids. A great design allows for easy adjustment of the boot to match your kids' growing feet. A simple turn of a dial changes the length of the boot 4 sizes! And there is no need to remount ski bindings after adjusting boot size. This is the favorite kids boot at Level Nine Sports, and a favorite among parents as well."

Easy to adjust, could use for a few years
By Aiden from Marwayne AB on 06/12/2011
Pros: Easy to adjust and comfortable
Cons: none yet
We bought these all for our 3 sons, it worked out awesome that each boy was a different size and they could all get a few years out of them. They adjust easy and they seem to think they were comfortable, would definitely recommend.
First time skier...love them
By Chris from Jasper, AB on 04/18/2011
Pros: grow with the child, she loves the colour, easy to adjust
Cons: haven't found one yet
Our daugher started skiing this year (age 5), and loves her boots. No complaints of being cold, easy to get in and out, and she loves the colour. I found the size adjustment very easy to work with, and it's so great that we don't have to buy another pair next season. These grow with her...
Great Boot!

Love the boots - great value
By Weekend skiier with 2 kids from Northeast Ohio on 04/15/2011
Pros: adjusts to many sizes - value
Cons: none that i can think of
bought these for my 3 year old. he has worn these for one season, we hope to get many more seasons out of them. Great value if you think how many seasons they can wear them. Guys at level nine were great with helping me with sizing. Skis, boots arrived quickly, and all mounted to my son's height, weight, ski level. I have told all my friends about level nine sports and I highly recommend them.
Awsome Boots
By oknewfie from MI on 04/14/2011
Pros: Perfect Fit
Cons: None
These boots worked well for our daughter who is 6 years old and is racing. 14 Races 14 First Place. Expect these boots to continue to perform for the next 2-3 years.
Fantastic Choice
By meglara from Calgary, AB Canada on 04/14/2011
Pros: easy in/out & adjust, warm & great quality
Bought these for a growing 5 year old boy. Fantastic Boot! They are very easy to adjust, and they grow quite a bit to get maximum use over a few ski seasons. Also easy to get on and off, they kept him dry and warm all day and very comfortable - no complaints!

Roces Ski Boot-Awesome!
By Eric from Ski Country Colorado on 04/12/2011
Pros: Adjustable
Cons: None
As a professional ski instructor I see way to many kids with boots that are to big because parents want to get more time out of the boots. This is the wrong thing to do as it really hinders the child's development. Roces has made it simple with the adjustable 2 buckle boot that rocks. I have had two kids on them now that started at age 3 and now age 6 1/2 and they are rocking good skiers as a result of having the right size boot. You won't be disappointed with this purchase.
Awesome boots
By Fire from Wisconsin on 04/04/2011
Pros: Adjustable!
Cons: None
These boots far exceeded my expectations! I was amazed at the quality and the ease of use. I already have the next sizes for my son when finally out grows these in for or five years!
Great choice
By Nina from New York on 04/01/2011
Pros: they are comfortable, and they grow
Cons: none
I have these for both my kids and can get 3 years out of each boot, more or less. My incredibly picky son wears these and he cannot stand wrinkles, invisible wrinkles, etc bothering his feet. My cold-footed daughter is fine in these although she uses foot warmers for below 25 degrees or if she's out for more than two hours probably. I'm so glad these exist.
Exceptional quality boots
By Snow Master from Chantilly, VA on 03/31/2011
Pros: $ave
Cons: NONE
This is the only product worthy of buying when you have a young and growing skier. Bought it for a 6 year old girl and I believe she can squeeze 3 years out of it, maybe four as girl grows slower than boy. Frankly, I would not buy anything else. If you are in the market for boots, look no further!
Great purchase
By seame from ohio on 03/28/2011

My kids all love these and I do for the cost savings!

I bought two pairs for my daughters and they have been great. Warm, with a good comfortable fit i reccomend Roces to everyone!
great value
By snoopy from Montana on 03/27/2011
My kids are finishing up their second season in these boots and they will get one more season - maybe even two seasons - out of them. Great value, especially when you have younger siblings to pass them down to. We ski several times a month and my older child has progressed to blue runs and approaching doing black runs in these boots.
GREAT STURDY BOOT
By CINCIN88 from TORONTO, CANADA on 03/26/2011
Pros: SOLID CONSTRUCTION
Cons: NONE
VERY SOLID, I AM LUCKY THAT MY SON ACTUALLY IN THE SMALLEST SETTING. THIS BOOT WOULD FIT HIM FOR AT LEAST A COUPLE YEARS
Best Boot Ever
By Razz5 from Illinois on 03/26/2011
Pros: Years of Fun
Cons: None!
This has to be the best kids ski boots ever invented. Having children in this sport is expensive. So when a parent can buy one boot that can last for several seasons....even better. My child loved this boot. She said it was the most comfortable ski boot she's has yet.
Roces boots
By Bharw on 03/25/2011
Pros: Save money
Ski as a family can really add up. But with these boots I can get several years use without sacrificing control or comfort. They are easy to adjust and look good after one year of use. My 11 year old was tearing up blue and doing well on blacks with these boots.
Great Boot
By srb from Los Angeles on 03/25/2011
Pros: Adjustability
Cons: Awkward
These boots are great. My 5 year old has worn them 3 times now and has not complained. I worried that they would be awkward to walk in when set on the smallest size setting since the base of the boot is 3 sizes bigger. But he seemed to do fine. The idea to be able to adjust the size as he grows is amazing.
Adjustable Ski Boots
By KJH from Boston, MA on 03/25/2011
Pros: last multiple years
Cons: bigger, heavier
These boots have worked well for my 6 year old son and will certainly last another year, even though we didn't start at the smallest size. We had a few complaints of knees hurting and think that there is certainly some impact to these being a bit longer and heavier than a smaller size boot, but worth the tradeoff to be able to use them multiple years. Definitely warm enought because my son won't wear his wool ski socks anymore because he says his feet are too hot!
Great Product
By DP from Ottawa on 03/24/2011
Pros: Adjustability
Cons: None
Bought these and a smaller size for both my girls for this season. They did about 10 days each and never complained of comfort. With the remaining adjustability, I know that I don't have to get new ones next year and perhaps beyond!
Fantastic boot and idea
By Scott from Dillsburg, PA on 03/24/2011
Pros: Versatility, fit, durability, ease of adjustment
Cons: none
Just what parents with growing kids need. We'll get at least two winters out of these for my daughter, maybe three before they go to my son. My daughter never complained about the fit or cold feet and her foot was snug as required. They are not a youth racing boot, but for the avg, learning recreational young skier, you can't go wrong with these. As an instructor at our local mountain, many of my fellow colleagues hadn't seen these before and they were wowed by the functionality and the idea.
Fantastic
By Cheri from Washington on 03/24/2011
Pros: Varying sizes
Level nine sports was the only place I could find these boots for a great price and in stock. I bought them for my 5 year old daughter in pink for Christmas and they are great! She hasn't complained while wearing them at all. Even better is that we won't have to buy her new boots next year!
It's about time
By Snowlovers in NC from NC on 03/24/2011
Pros: fit, comfort, "cool factor"
I have been buying ski boots year after year before I stumbled upon these Roces boots. I'm hoping to get several years worth of use out of them. They're easy to adjust and since the sole length doesn't change, the bindings don't have to move.

My 7-year-old wore them all season and never complained about cold feet or pinches or pains in the ankles. They were even dubbed "cool looking", and you can't get better than that!
Roces Are Great
By Djlooney from Mt. Bachelor, OR on 03/24/2011
Pros: Adjustable & Comfortable
Cons: No Complaints
These are great!! We purchased two pairs, one for each of our daughters. They have used them all year without any complaints. Warm feet and comfortable. They can even put them on themselves. They are ages 7 & 8. I don't know why people would give them a bad review. We wanted to purchase equipment for all our kids, but didn't want to have to buy new boots every year. These are great and you won't be disappointed.
Brilliant!
By AZ from NJ on 03/24/2011
Pros: Will fit for a few years, high quality
Cons: none
These are great ski boots and if you get them right at the start of the sizing will likely fit for 3 years. My boys have never complained of the cold and it is pretty easy to adjust. Recommend checking out Level Nine vidoes of the product. Highly recommend
Rawsome Boots
By Scott from Utah on 03/24/2011
Pros: Color, Wieght, stlye
I bought these Roces Adjustible boots for My 5 year old daugther and 8 year old son this year because I didn't want to keep buying new boots every year. Both kids fit into the smallest setting this year, so I hope to be able to keep them in the same boot, binding and ski for the next couple of years as they continue to learn to ski. These boots are great!
Outstanding product
By Anthony D from Ontario Canada on 03/19/2011
Pros: Quality materials adjusts nicely
Cons: none yet
Fantastic boot. Bought it about 1/2 size larger than its smallest adjustable size and still works perfect. Hopefully get 3 or maybe 4 years out of these. Good quality materials and assembly. Made it Italy. I would never ever consider any other ski boot for a growing child now that I have tried these. Can't go wrong. My daughter loves the funky pink too.
adj ski boots

Great find
By wallycons from Rhode Island on 03/15/2011
Pros: It looks like they will cover a great deal of sizes .
Cons: They need a larger selection of ranges so you can start you kid at the lowest size maximizing savings.
These boots are a great find as they should last for a few seasons without having to remount or adjust the bindings. They were a little tough to get into the smallest position. They should tell you to push the heel piece towards the toe in order to lock the adjustment tab into place.
Best Boot For Kids!!!
By [RV]erified User #136762 30 Day per Season Ski Family from Idaho on 02/24/2011
Pros: 2 Season Boot For Kids!!!
Cons: NONE... ZERO!!!
This boot has been perfect for my kids! My Son used his boots for 2 seasons and now his sister is wearing them this year and may use them next year. She used her boots for 2 seasons also. IF YOU HAVE KIDS AND DON'T BUY THIS BOOT... YOUR CRAZY!!!
No complaints
By [RV]erified User #136715 Bertys from Australia on 02/21/2011
Pros: 4 year old loved them
Cons: A little heavy.
My 4 year old got a pair this year for Christmas. He then spent 15 consecutive days skiing at Sun Peaks and never complained once. He should get another season out of them and then his brother will get a few after him. All up a fair better way to go than renting each year.
Quality of built was excelent and adjustment range fantastic when compared to other kids boots.
So Far So Good
By [RV]erified User #136200 Lucky Luke from Vancouver BC on 01/31/2011
Pros: good value & great fit
Cons: none so far
Purchased the boots over Christmas for my 4 years old son. Boots look great and the little guy been out 6 times so far and has absolutely no problem with the boots. Fairly easy to make the adjustments. Bought the 19.0 to 22.5 size & should be able to get full use of the range as my little guy is a size 13 (19 - 19.5). Growing like a weed so I will be more than happy to get 2.5 - 3 seasons out of this pair. In my opinion a great value.
Great Boot
By Chaseman from Nevada on 01/10/2011
Pros: Fits perfect
My son has worn for three years as his foot has gone from a 19.0 to a 22.0. Level 4 skier and they are super. Have saved buying 3 pairs of boots. Will get the next size up for sure.
Great Idea--Good Boot
By [RV]erified User #135006 Max from Midwest on 11/27/2010
Pros: Save some dough and get out of rentals
Cons: None
I was really suspicious buying these as "one size fits all" usually doesn't. My son used these last year, his first skiing, and likes them a lot. He is skiing Midwest hills at this point. A specifically sized boot would undoubtedly give him better response and fit but, despite what many parents think, at this stage of the game they ain't Bode Miller and don't need an expensive pair of boots and binding remount each year. Most important is the fit is secure enough to be safe for him. The size adjust mechanism seems to work well, though it is somewhat tough getting the liners out of the boot as it is with most small boots. He will certainly get a second season out of them and unless he complains of performance issues or grows like crazy at the end of this year will likely get a third. Curiously, the local (nationally renowned) custom ski shop I get gear at stopped carrying these because of "problems" that nobody could pinpoint. These boots allowed him to get out of the lousy fit (and me out of the expense) of rentals in a way that makes sense. Unless you've got money to spend on new gear every year, they are a solid choice for equipment. They REALLY do work!
Best idea ever!
By Seattlerain from Seattle on 11/11/2010
Pros: Grow with kids, sturdy!
Cons: None
These are such a brilliant idea! I bought two pair for my daughters, and they are on their third season wearing them. (They were size 19 when we bought them, so we get the full benefit of the size adjustments). We should get a fourth season out of them. They have held up great, tighten up nicely to give good support, the girls say they are comfortable, and my kids are skiing black diamonds in them.
L9 Q&A
By L9 CS Team on 10/16/2010
Children's feet grow faster than Jack's beanstalk. These boots combat mother nature as hard as they can by adjusting to fit your kid's feet throughout the years. Curious about how this works? Just ask.
