I was really suspicious buying these as "one size fits all" usually doesn't. My son used these last year, his first skiing, and likes them a lot. He is skiing Midwest hills at this point. A specifically sized boot would undoubtedly give him better response and fit but, despite what many parents think, at this stage of the game they ain't Bode Miller and don't need an expensive pair of boots and binding remount each year. Most important is the fit is secure enough to be safe for him. The size adjust mechanism seems to work well, though it is somewhat tough getting the liners out of the boot as it is with most small boots. He will certainly get a second season out of them and unless he complains of performance issues or grows like crazy at the end of this year will likely get a third. Curiously, the local (nationally renowned) custom ski shop I get gear at stopped carrying these because of "problems" that nobody could pinpoint. These boots allowed him to get out of the lousy fit (and me out of the expense) of rentals in a way that makes sense. Unless you've got money to spend on new gear every year, they are a solid choice for equipment. They REALLY do work!
